PORTFOLIO
Simo Kellokumpu is a Finnish (born in Lapland) choreographer and researcher based in Helsinki. In his work, Kellokumpu explores the transdisciplinary interplay of bodies, choreography, movement, and space/place, influenced by post-internet hyper-reading practices, speculative fiction, and site-responsiveness/ability. In addition to his solo work, Kellokumpu collaborates with other artists. His latest works have been presented at the Toaster Festival in Copenhagen, Tokyo Arts and Space, Kohta Gallery in Helsinki, and Konstmuseet i Norr in Kiruna. After completing a Doctor of Arts degree in 2019 at the Performing Arts Research Centre (TUTKE), Theatre Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki, based on his artistic research project Choreography as Reading Practice, Kellokumpu has worked as a visiting researcher at TUTKE with his postdoctoral artistic research project titled xeno/exo/astro-choreoreadings. In addition to his artistic work, Kellokumpu currently works as a lecturer in the MA in Dance Performance. https://simokellokumpu.org/
Vincent Roumagnac is a Basque-French artist and researcher based in Helsinki. Initially an actor, then a theatre director, he moved away from straight theatre production modes, focusing instead on how scenic practices transform in response to climate urgency and technological advancements, within what he has coined a discipline-fluid methodology. His works, which blend visual, installation, and performing arts, are rooted in intervention and site-sensitive ecologies. He is also involved in investigative and transdisciplinary processes that challenge the connections between art and research. In 2020, Roumagnac completes a Doctorate in Arts at Uniarts Helsinki with his artistic research project Reacclimating the Stage. In 2025, he publishes the final exposition of his postdoctoral research DATA OCEAN THEATRE (2021–2024) as part of the Acta Scenica series (Uniarts Helsinki). He is affiliated as a visiting artist-researcher at the Theatre Academy of Helsinki. https://vincentroumagnac.com/
